Bluetooth technology is an open global specification for wireless data and voice communications based on low-cost, short-range wireless connectivity to establish a special connection between fixed and mobile device communication environments. The program is written in a 9 x 9 mm microchip.

The ISM band is a band that is open to all radio systems, so using one of these bands will encounter unpredictable sources of interference. To this end, Bluetooth has specifically designed a fast acknowledgment and frequency hopping scheme to ensure link stability. The frequency hopping technique divides the frequency band into several hop channels. In one connection, the radio transceivers are in a certain code sequence (that is, a certain law, technically called "pseudo-random code", which is "false" Random code) continuously "jumps" from one channel to another channel, only the transmitting and receiving parties communicate according to this rule, and other interferences cannot interfere according to the same law; the instantaneous bandwidth of frequency hopping is very narrow. However, spread spectrum technology spreads this narrow bandwidth hundreds of times into a wide frequency band, making the possible effects of interference small. Compared to other systems that operate in the same frequency band, Bluetooth hops faster and packets are shorter, making Bluetooth more stable than other systems. The use of FEC (Forward Error Correction) suppresses random noise on long-distance links. A frequency hopping transceiver employing binary frequency modulation (FM) technology is used to suppress interference and prevent fading.

The Bluetooth baseband protocol is a combination of circuit switching and packet switching. Synchronous data packets can be transmitted in reserved time slots, each data packet being transmitted at a different frequency. A data packet nominally occupies one time slot, but can actually be extended to occupy five time slots. Bluetooth can support asynchronous data channels, up to three simultaneous simultaneous voice channels, and can simultaneously transmit asynchronous data and synchronized voice on one channel. Each voice channel supports a 64 kb/s synchronous voice link. The asynchronous channel can support an asymmetric connection with a maximum rate of 721 kb/s on one end and 57.6 kb/s on the other end, and can also support a symmetric connection of 43.2 kb/s.
